Most of these tricks are done with normal everyday items
found in or near a bar a restaurant, or a dinner setting.
Some are very simple, some more complex,
all of them are fun, and everybody loves them.
I feel these are the best bar tricks offered on the web.
Quick Tricks:Bad Math
Set Up: Lay out 16 toothpicks or matches to form this math problem.
Explain these are stick numbers,… not roman numerals.
Now, 1 plus 2 plus 3 does not equal 4 so you have to make this math problem correct,…
Rules of the Trick: You can only move one toothpick from one place to another,
it must remain in the problem, and make the answer “4” correct.
The Solution: Take a toothpick from the “2”

Turn it 90 degree’s and place it on the center toothpick
in the “l l l” making it a “plus” sign.
Now your answer “l l l l” and the rest of the problem is correct.
Important: When laying out the toothpicks for this trick make sure you space those toothpicks out when you get to the “l l l”
There must be room between the 1st and 3rd toothpick for a toothpick to fit in lengthwise, so when you make that center toothpick a plus sign, you won’t be over-lapping on the outside 2 toothpicks.
Quick Tricks:
Set Up: We’ve all seen a cork that has been pushed into a wine bottle.
In this trick you ask that the cork be removed from the bottle
with out harming the bottle or the cork.
Rules of the Trick: You can use any of the items found at a normal
restaurant dinner table setting.
The Solution: Take a cloth dinner napkin, pull out the point of one corner and work in the bottle with a twisting motion.
Once you get it about ¾ of the way in turn the bottle sideways and bounce the cork so that it is sitting in the end of the napkin, now slowly turn the bottle upside down while pulling the napkin out, this will help the cork wedge into the bottles neck with the napkin.
Once it gets wedged you can turn the bottle back over, wrap the napkin around your hand, (you’ll need this good grip) then put the bottle between your knee’s and hold down on the neck with the free hand and pull hard on the napkin.
The cork will fly out of the bottle with a little “POP” stunning your friends.
Quick Tricks: Candle Light
Set Up: Light a candle without touching flame to wick:
Rules of the Trick: You must try to light a candle with out touching a flame to the wick.
Keep the flame at least an inch from the wick. You cannot touch the candle.
The Solution: Light the candle let it burn for a second or two, then blow it out. Quickly, hold the lit match in the stream of smoke coming from the wick.
The smoke itself will ignite and travel down re-igniting the wick.

Amazingly, on my first try, I actually caught on film the smoke igniting.
You can see a flame jumping from the match to the wick.
Notice the flame from the match is well above the wick.
